Specsavers – Agile Assessment & Coaching

With complex stakeholder relationships, based around contrasting and competing priorities, Specsavers needed an independent assessment of their existing agile practices. Agil8’s Shaun Smith was appointed to undertake this review, and provide objective recommendations on how to remove the project impediments and frustrations that all stakeholders were experiencing.

System C Healthcare – Large Scale Agile (SAFe)

The System C product portfolio and code base has expanded significantly in recent years, resulting in a suite of products with varying complexities and maturities – as well as a large distributed development team with historically different cultures and development approaches. The company had previously used aspects of Agile to manage these challenges, but a more modern Agile development approach was needed and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) was identified as the most suitable method to adopt.

Kyria Ltd – Bespoke In-house Training

Since adopting Scrum a number of years ago, Kyria have successfully delivered a wide range of software projects. However, there were still aspects of implementation that were proving to be challenging. Agil8 were engaged to deliver a bespoke package of in-house training, completely tailored to the unique needs of the company, which enabled them to remove impediments and overcome the challenges that they were experiencing.

River Island – Implementing Agile in Human Resources

As is the case in many organisations, Agile methodologies were initially adopted by the Technology Team at River Island. They achieved excellent results very quickly, which gave way to curiosity at Senior Leadership level as to how it could be utilised in different areas of the business. The HR and Learning & Development Team were keen to pioneer the use of Agile, and successfully applied Scrum to their workload and day to day working.

Euromoney Institutional Investment (EII) – Coaching & Consulting

With a failed attempt at Agile adoption already behind them, Euromoney Institutional Investor (EII) wanted rapid success, and appointed agil8 to accelerate Agile implementation. Following an assessment of EII’s needs, a tailored programme of Agile consultancy, coaching and bespoke training was delivered by David Hicks (CEO of agil8).
