What is this course?
Live Online Training
To overcome the challenges currently associated with attending in-person training, agil8 have adapted the delivery of this course into a live online training format with an added focus on how to work using agile with remote team members.
Utilising live video, alongside online collaboration tools, we’re able to replicate the interactive nature of our face-to-face training within a virtual environment. As such, individuals can undertake this training from their home or any other remote location.
Online Delivery Method
The online Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) course consists of 4 x 4.5 hour sessions. Please note that the start and finish times listed for each of the respective course dates refer to GMT time zone.
The ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching (ACC) course provides a deep dive into the world of agile coaching. The course is split into 4 unique half-day (4.5 hour) modules covering the core competencies of agile coaching.
The course focuses on equipping you with new tools, techniques and skills to be the best agile coach / ScrumMaster you can be.

What will you learn?
The course is split into 4 core modules:
Learn the basics of Professional Coaching from ICF Certified Coaches. Competencies you will start to build include: Active Listening, Powerful Questions, Emotional Intelligence, Presence and Clean Feedback.
Using Training from the BACK of the Room! Techniques we will explore adult learning techniques culminating in creating a new learning experience you will use. During this module, you will also learn the core skills of a good mentor and how it is different from coaching and consulting.
Serving the Team
Using several Agile Coaching tools adapted from various team coaching practices from experts in the field. We will explore topics such as the drivers for high performance, how to launch a team, navigate change, and, most importantly, manage an engagement.
The last module brings the learnings from the different competencies together and teaches you how to move between stances and what tools to use at which point of your agile coaching journey.

Are there any prerequisites for this course?
Although it is not a formal prerequisite, we have found that this certification is best pursued after an agile foundation course such as Scrum Foundations, Agile Fundamentals or CSM/PSM.
As this is an online course, you will also need to access additional applications
As this is an online course, you will need a computer with a camera and a headset. You will also need to install the zoom client. We highly recommend you use a personal laptop to comply with any company security policies and ensure you can access everything you need to during the course.
How should you prepare for this course?
Pre-work is provided focused on self-reflection using the Agile Coaching Growth Wheel*. There is also a pre-call to support you in completing the pre-work, and setting you up for success during the training.
What about certification?
The course is assessed by the instructor(s). You must complete a basic 10-minute coaching conversation to complete the course; however, the instructors will work with you until this is possible.
Please note: You will only receive the ICAgile Professional Agile Coaching Certification (ACC) when the pre-work, four modules, and post-work have been completed.
