What is this course?
The ICAgile Agile Team Facilitation (ATF) workshop will be delivered over the initial two days, and will enhance one’s ability to plan and conduct effective team meetings and ensures the team is working collaboratively to achieve high performance.
This will be followed by the three day ICAgile Coaching (ACC) workshop focuses primarily on the mindset, roles, and responsibilities of an Agile Coach.

What will you learn?
The Agile Team Facilitation (ICP – ATF) workshop provides group facilitation tools and techniques for effectively designing meetings and workshops that both engage the entire audience and drive toward desired outcomes. In the meanwhile, it helps the facilitators to instigate the facilitating mindset shift across the team to guide the team through the paradigm shifts required in Agile environment. It enables teams to deliver better results, improve team maturity, achieve self-organisation, and serves as a stepping-stone for one to become an Agile Coach.
The Agile Coaching (ICP – ACC) workshop introduces participants to team development concepts around starting and growing teams while paying particular attention to team dynamics and the surrounding organisational system. A key part of this course focuses on developing an understanding of the professional Coaching skill-set and the value of honing these skills to serve team members.
After finishing the course, you will be able to differentiate between mentoring, facilitating, consulting, teaching and coaching. You will also gain the skills needed to create a safe environment for meaningful collaboration and healthy conflict resolution within an Agile team.

Agile Coaching (ICP – ACC)
Professional coaching – Learn the basics of Professional Coaching from ICF Certified Coaches. Competencies you will start to build include: Active Listening, Powerful Questions, Emotional Intelligence, Presence and Clean Feedback.
Mentoring – When someone you are working with runs out of ideas what do we do? Learn the core skills of a good mentor and how to support people through the difficult transition to a new way of working and avoid falling into consulting.
Serving the team – We will look at the basics of team coaching from ORSC trained trainers before moving on to looking at the importance of a solid team launch, coaching plan, impediment removal and conflict.
Facilitate learning – Using Training from the BACK of the Room! techniques we will explore adult learning techniques culminating in creating a new learning experience you will be able to use.
What will you receive?
In addition to the obtaining the ICAgile certification (see below), successful completion of the Boot Camp also enables you to gain:
• 37 Scrum Education Units toward Certified Scrum Professional
• 37 PDUs toward the PMI-ACP or for PMP continuing education
Who is this course suitable for?
Agile team leaders or aspiring team leaders with a passion for servant leadership and a desire to learn and practice coaching.
Relevant roles include Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Iteration Managers, Agile Coaches and Aspiring coaches, Business Analysts, Product Owner, Analysts, and anyone with the desire to harness the power of coaching.
Are there any prerequisites for this course?
There are no conditional pre-requisites for this training program, it is however advised that participants have a good working knowledge of at least one Agile Framework.
We also recommend that you have an Agile work experience in a lead role Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Agile Project Manager, Product Owner, etc.
How should you prepare for this course?
There are a number of articles and videos that are recommended as pre-course preparation. Links to each of these pre-course materials will be emailed to delegates upon registration.
What about certification?
This Boot camp is accredited by the ICAgile (International Consortium for Agile) as fulfilling all Learning Objectives in the Agile Team Facilitation (ATF) and Agile Coaching (ACC) track.
To earn an ICAgile certification, you must successfully complete an ICAgile-accredited class. During the class, you will be required to demonstrate your knowledge, skills and agile mindset.
ICAgile does not administer or require a specific exam to become certified. Students who successfully complete a course for certification will receive an invitation from us to view their transcript and to claim their certification on ICAgile.com.
