What is this course?
Live Online Training
To overcome the challenges currently associated with attending in-person training, agil8 have adapted the delivery of this course into a live online training format with added focus on how to work using agile with remote team members.
Utilising live video, alongside online collaboration tools, we’re able to replicate the interactive nature of our face-to-face training within a virtual environment. As such, individuals can undertake this training from their home, or any other remote location.
Professional Scrum Foundations (PSF) is a 2-day course that delivers the foundational knowledge needed to be successful with Scrum, the most popular agile software development framework.
This class designed by Scrum.org is highly practical, with a combination of instruction and team-based exercises, where students experience how the Scrum framework improves product development efforts through building “done” software.
After the class, students are eligible for the PSM I assessment. If you pass the assessment, you will gain the industry recognised PSM I certification. This certification will never expire, and will make you part of an elite community of 60,000+ PSM I badge holders.
What will you learn?
Over the 2 days, students are introduced to the mechanics of Scrum, gaining insights into overcoming complexity, dealing with team based collaboration and self-organisation as essential elements in mastering Scrum.
Students work together as a team in a series of Sprints to build a software application, thereby facing real-life problems. The mechanics, roles, and principles of Scrum are leveraged during the exercises. From its emphasis on the practical application of Scrum, the course exposes common missteps and misunderstandings so students grow a higher awareness of the associated symptoms. The course provides prescriptive guidance to avoid going off track and keep Scrum healthy.
