Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS)
Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) is a scaling Agile framework. It provides simple guidelines, rules and direction on how to apply Scrum with multiple teams, while decreasing organisational complexities. LeSS takes the same Scrum principles, purpose and elements that are utilised at the team level – and applies them within a large-scale context across multiple teams.
A typical LeSS adoption case would be anything from perhaps 5 teams (a few hundred people) located across one or two sites, all the way up to an implementation of well over a thousand people across a large number of development sites.
